I have found the human figure to be inspiring and enhanced by my education of gymnastics, modeling, graphic design, fine art, photography, self awareness, and knowledge of the internet.

Seeing the beauty in others, nature, architecture, environments, and artistically illustrating that, seems to be my underlying focus of design.

The Vine Hair Wall

Off the 30 freeway East of the 215 is a place of beauty that is hidden.. a wall of vines that the wind has shaped like strands of human hair, and it is hidden by 3 camouflages:

1-only one obsessed with hair to begin with might be the one to see it, unless it is admired for just the beauty of nature itself;

2-it is growing wild in a place of noise, hustle, and freeway clatter; and

3-the leaves that make this hair-shape evident, are seasonal, and not seen when the leaves fall off, depending on what time of year it is.

Growing over a wall on the edge of a freeway is quiet beauty that exists and grows over time unnoticed by all.. so typical of beautys that are overlooked in everyday life as we scurry to be consumed by the almighty dollar and let preoccupation order us.

Just the placement alone of this wonder signifies that even if one would force themselves to stop, admire, and be still for a moment, it is just obliterated in the difficulty to do such a thing, as the force of issues and realities in the pace of life pushes one to move right back along.

There is no place there to stay awhile, relax, be free from cars honking.. and escape, and of course is non-existent. The idea is almost as if society has forced us to be separate from the allowance to quiet ourselves and be in touch with our surroundings.

The inspired wall above came first, then this drawing. Can you find the hidden figure?

Here I'm demonstrating the Blue Morpho Butterfly painting and learning how to set studio lighting for doing this kind of video presenting.

Zooming the camera the right way too, does help. ;)  Course it makes an additional challenge when the cam is turned around the opposite way than you know of, to capture you.
